50 years later, a family reunites at the former Catonsville home of their grandparents - The Baltimore Banner

The Kirby family sold their house in Catonsville, Maryland in 1973, but there was something magical about it that they couldn’t let go of.

 

On a chance encounter earlier in 2023, cousin Chris dropped his daughter off at a classmate’s house for pre-prom photos and realized it was the former home of his grandparents where he and his cousins had spent much of their childhood.

 

The Kirby family connected with the current owner of the house and, at the end of October — 50 years after leaving the home — they were able to return and tour it one last time.
